Who is Theresa Burt, owner of Burt Designs Photography?

Raised in Marietta, Georgia, but born in New Jersey, I call Georgia my home! I have three beautiful children and my first pregnancy was twins. I enjoy being a part of my clients (friends) lives creating memories behind my camera. I am a techy person, not typical for a girl, but I was the youngest of three older brothers. 

What is your photographic experience?

Theresa Burt has a BS in Printing Production and Imaging Technology in addition to her Master of Business Administration. Theresa was trained in advanced photo manipulation and enhancement. She has been in the digital photography field since 1997 and has over 18 of experience. She also has additional experience in graphic design, computer illustration, and web design.

Theresa’s training was very in-depth and included a great deal of technical training in light, color, and composition. She learned both the manual and computer processes in the highly technical field of photographic post-processing. Digital photography was just getting started when she graduated in 1997. She began working at a commercial digital photography advertising agency in Knoxville, TN as the main photograph retouch artist and graphic designer. She also directed commercial photo shoots for catalogs and advertising campaigns.
