How long have you been in business?Burt Designs has been in established for over 10 years offering freelance web design, graphic print design, and photographic retouch services. Burt Designs Photography began offering services in 2003. Each family has become a unique and special client to me and I really enjoy sharing in capturing each photo! Where is are you located?Burt Designs Photography is located in Acworth, Georgia. Sessions are by appointment only, so please call or email to schedule a session or check availability.All my clients are considered guests! There will be no waiting like other commercial studios. Each guest has reserved my time to capture their history (And I love doing it). |

Do you use film or digital?All my photos are shot using digital. I am able to shoot in color but I prefer black and white. Also, your satisfaction is very important to me. If you are not happy in any way with your portraits, we can schedule another session. All printed photos are processed the same as film except they are sent through the computer to the photo lab. You would never know that the pictures are shot using digital unless you are told. All proofs are posted online for viewing. However, if you are unable to view your proofs online, you may purchasing the printed proofs. If you are still leery of digital photography, contact me and we can discuss any questions you have further. What if I am late?Please be considerate of my time. Contact me as soon as you know you are going to be late. If I am able, I will still continue the scheduled session. Otherwise, your session will be have to reschedule for another day. I want to make sure that we have adequate time for your session. I understand that with children comes accidents. I want to be considerate of these situations. However, I will only be able to reschedule one time. |
How long will my pictures be online?After the session, each photo is examined and color corrected. The pictures are posted within 7-10 business days of the session unless otherwise discuss. I will keep the pictures up as long as 1 month from the day of the session. However, web space may be limited. If you are interested in re-ording and your pictures have been removed from the web, contact me and I will post the pictures again. How do I pay for my pictures and is it secure?If you order your prints online, you may pay with a credit card through PayPal. PayPal is very secure. You may visit their site for more information at http://www.paypal.com. Also, other family members may order pictures, even if they are located in other states. Just give them the web address to view the pictures and allow them to order directly. If you do not order online, I accept cash or checks made to "Theresa Burt" when the pictures are picked up. |

More about Theresa Burt?Although I have been photographing as a hobby for many years, I developed a real passion for it after the birth of my girl/boy twins. I wanted to capture their beauty and share it with the world. By the time I was able to grab the camera, the babies were already scooting all around! Being Mommy and photographer is very difficult. When photographic my twins, I always have to have a helper for my studio shots. My style is constantly changing with the times. I would say I am much more contemporary than traditional. I have a very pure look. I don't use lots of props because I feel they take away from the picture. I try to capture true emotions by allowing my subjects to freely roam and be themselves. Also, I mainly shoot in black and white. However, I do offer some color options. I use a "touch of color" option and also color tinting. My full time job is being Mommy to my twins; therefore, I have structured times for my photographic sessions. I truly enjoy sharing my talents with other families. I consider each session an opportunity to capture fine art. |
